Carmel B. Wood, CPA

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Carmel began her career in 1988 and joined the HM&M family in 1991. Carmel is an alumni member of Accounting Today’s 2017 Top Ten Managing Partner Elite, to which she was selected because of her cutting edge leadership qualities and characteristics.

Over her career, Carmel has worked with many individuals, high net worth family groups, privately held companies, and not-for-profit organizations. She provides professional services centered on advising her clients and their businesses and has a special focus on high net worth family groups, healthcare, real estate, retirement plans, professional services and the construction industries providing consulting, tax, financial statement audits and reviews and internal control solutions.

In her spare time, she is involved with church, tennis, and social activities in her hometown of Frisco. Carmel also has served on the boards of foundations and advisory committees, including the Dallas Chapter of CPAs Political Action Committee, and is currently a member of the Oklahoma State University Accounting Advisory Board.
