Carmel B. Wood, CPA
Carmel joined Huselton, Morgan & Maultsby, P.C. in 1991. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Carmel began her career as an auditor in 1988. Since joining HM&M, Carmel has gained wide-spread audit and tax experience serving clients in the private sector. She manages clients in a number of industries and has a concentration of clients in the professional services, health care, construction, family groups, and retirement plans. As one of the partners of the firm, Carmel performs and manages retirement plan audits, financial statement audits and reviews for private companies and nonprofit organizations, internal control solutions, and tax preparation for businesses, trusts, and individuals. In her spare time, she is involved with her children’s parent teacher organizations and sports activities, National Charity League, church and social activities in her hometown of Frisco. Carmel also serves on the Board of Directors of The Priscilla Beshears Foundation, as a committee member for the Dallas Chapter of CPAs Political Action Committee, and as a member of the Oklahoma State University Accounting Advisory Board.
