James B. Herndon, CPA

Jim joined HM&M in 1982 after earning his accounting degree from Texas Wesleyan University. With over 36 years of public practice in the area of tax, Jim has developed a diverse client base, including real estate, oil and gas, retail, professional services, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. He cares about his clients and they appreciate his calm demeanor, focus, and ability to address their individual needs. Jim and his wife of 33 years, Kay, have a son in Atlanta and a daughter in New York City. In addition to playing competitive tennis, Jim enjoys hiking, biking, and pretty much anything outdoors, especially in the mountains.
