Carmel Wood Named 2017 Top Ten Managing Partner Elite By Accounting Today

Huselton, Morgan & Maultsby is proud to announce that Carmel Wood has been selected as a member of Accounting Today’s 2017 Top Ten Managing Partner Elite.

Accounting Today annually selects Managing Partners for inclusion in their Managing Partner Elite list of top firm leaders.  The MP Elite report identifies and profiles approximately one dozen of the best leaders of public accounting firms of all sizes across the country.  The list includes the most successful managing partners from small, midsized and large firms and identifies the qualities and characteristics that make a cutting edge leader.

Carmel’s accomplishments were highlighted below:

“The Managing Partner Elite isn’t really about managing – it’s about leading. The kind of leading Carmel Wood did when she launched HM&M’s accounting services department. Or when the firm tripled its presence in Dallas on her watch, adding two new offices.  Or when she successfully navigated the firm through a series of planned and unplanned departures in the shareholder ranks that threatened to derail the firm’s succession plan. Or when she led the firm to create a new HR position to boost retention.  Or what she’s doing now, in spearheading the development of the firm’s data analytics skills to boost its audit capabilities.”

Join us in congratulating Carmel.  She deserves all the nice things that Accounting Today has to say about her – and more!
