Kristen McClure

Kristen received a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and then attend the University of North Texas to gain accounting and tax knowledge for the required hours to take the CPA exam. Kristen’s father-in-law was an accountant and got her interested in becoming a CPA. Kristen joined HM&M as an intern and has been with the firm for 8 years. Ater receiving her CPA license, she participated in the Leadership Development Program at the Fort Worth Chapter of TXCPA. She enjoys building relationships with clients and mentoring staff. Before joining HM&M, Kristen worked at Range Resources where she developed experience working in oil & gas accounting. She also attended an oil & gas taxation course at the University of North Texas taught by HM&M retired partner, Vance Maultsby and partner, Randy Garcia. Kristen enjoys using her oil & gas knowledge to help businesses and individuals take advantage of tax deductions. She also enjoys working with high net worth individuals, investment partnerships, real estate and restaurants. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two dogs.
